Flat roof coating
Elastomeric roof coating for Reno warehouses, offices and retail buildings
An elastomeric roof coating goes over the flat roof you already have. Instead of tearing it off, the coating seals what is there and buys it more years. Roof work is one piece of our commercial painting work for property owners across Northern Nevada.
- Seals the roof surface
- Repels water to help prevent leaks
- Extends the life of the existing roof
- Made for flat-top commercial roofs
What it involves
What a roof elastomeric coating job involves, from inspection to topcoat
It starts on the roof itself. We look over the surface, clean it, and get it ready so the coating can bond. Then the elastomeric coating system goes on across the flat roof.
The usual candidates are warehouses, office buildings and retail spaces. If the walls need attention while we are on site, our commercial painters can take care of both in one project.
Specialty Coatings
Epoxy floor coatings for the warehouse under the roof
Coating the roof of a warehouse or shop? The floor inside may be ready for the same attention. Our epoxy floor coatings give bare concrete a sleek, stain-resistant finish.
Common situations
When Reno property owners call about a flat roof coating
Most roof coating jobs start with one of these.
- A flat warehouse roof that has started to leak
- Water stains on ceiling tiles after a storm
- An aging flat roof you want more years out of before replacing it
- Water that sits on the roof after rain or snowmelt
- A new tenant moving in under a tired roof
- Roof work timed alongside a full exterior repaint
Snow sits on a flat roof in Reno for days after a storm. It melts on a sunny afternoon, refreezes by night, and does it again the next day. Every pass works the old cracks a little wider.

Pricing
How roof elastomeric coating estimates are priced
We do not publish set prices for roof elastomeric coatings. An estimate comes down to:
- The size of the roof
- The condition of the existing surface
- How much cleaning and repair it needs before coating
- Access to the roof
- Whether other work, like an exterior repaint, is part of the same job
The estimate is free. Want to see the kind of buildings we work on? Browse our project gallery.

FAQ
Roof elastomeric coating questions from Reno property owners

What kind of roofs do you coat?
Flat-top commercial roofs, the kind found on warehouses, office buildings and retail spaces.
